Moby Dick House of Kabob Recognized at RAMMY Awards

The 37th Annual RAMMY Awards are over and it was truly a night to remember. Presented by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), this award recognizes the accomplishments of the region’s restaurants and foodservice community. It was started in the 1980s, consisting of just a small group of people, but over time, the RAMMYs were able to amass a guest list of over 2,000 people!

This year, we were proud to be recognized with an Honorary Milestone RAMMY Award for our 30 years of service in the DC area. The Silver Diner, The Bombay Club, and Ristorante iRicchi were our fellow recipients in this category and we are proud to have stood beside them.

Additionally, we offer a big congratulations to Kwame Onwuachi of Kith/Kin for being named the 2019 Rising Culinary Star of the Year!

Exciting as this is, this isn’t our first time being recognized by the RAMMYs. In 2018, we earned the title of “Favorite Fast Bite” for our two DC locations.

Since 1989, our mission has been to provide authentic Persian and Mediterranean cuisine to our local communities. We take pride in our traditional cooking methods and commitment to hard work, never once cutting corners.

Receiving this recognition confirms what we already know: there is no substitution for the best ingredients, open flame, and a clay bread oven. We’re looking forward to another 30 years of naan, kabobs, and fun with all of you!

Thank you for welcoming us into your lives, DC!
