Moby Dick App 3.0: Revamped + Ready to Reward Moby Dick Devotees
We are absolutely thrilled to announce the official launch of our new app today, Tuesday, October 12th! Ned Daryoush, CEO, and Alex Momeni, COO, of Moby Dick are sharing their stories behind making the decision to elevate the brand’s digital presence and all in the name of focusing on rewarding their loyal Moby Dick devotees.
When Momeni rejoined the Moby Dick House of Kabob team about 7 years ago, one of the first goals he set out for the beloved family-owned and operated brand business was to find ways to bring the powerful brand back into the limelight from a tech standpoint. Momeni felt it had been status quo for years, relying on great tasting food, but he quickly realized that would not be enough anymore.
Securing and launching MDHK’s very first app became a passion project that soon led our team to finding Level Up, our current app developer. Our first app just had the basics offered, with very few useful features. It was enough to earn rewards, but that was about it. With this new app we have worked hard to develop, now has all of the bells and whistles a loyal customer/guest would want to see in an app. We brainstormed and executed substantial market research to truly understand what our fans and customers wanted to see in a new app and that became our roadmap. We wanted to make sure that this app redevelopment provides the latest and greatest in terms of features and functionality. The new and improved version of the app is more user-friendly and allows us to create exciting campaigns and promotions.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who loves Moby, our food, and our team as a 30 + year-old family-owned brand in the DC Metro area. Our only objective with this app is to reward our guests in as many new ways as possible. It became our mission to create an app that customers want to use as often as possible because they see the value and ease of use in it.
The new MDHK app is available beginning today in both the Apple App Store and Google Play store and it’s also listed as the Moby Dick House of Kabob Rewards app. Individuals will be asked to create a simple login and once that has been completed, users are given immediate access. Users can choose if they want to order from the regular menu or catering. Some rewards will also be visit-based, and others will be dollar spent-based. We also make it extremely easy for users to order with pictures and descriptions. Create your order as you wish, pay, and you are done!
