Isaias worked alongside Moby Dick’s late and beloved founder, Mike Daryoush, at Mike’s original luncheonette before he opened the first Moby’s. More than three decades later, Isaias is still an integral part of our company, playing a leading role in training, opening, and troubleshooting at all 24 of our restaurants. Although he’s one of our most experienced employees, Isaias is quick to roll up his sleeves and help out with cooking or any task required.
Then there is Amir, a store manager, who has been part of the Moby Dick family for just as many years. He started out as a cashier at Moby’s when he arrived in America and worked his way up to management. Along the way, Amir has greeted thousands of customers with a warm and welcoming smile as they walk through the front doors, treating them as if they were guests in his own home. His kindness is not only reserved for customers; Amir also treats his team members like family, taking a personal interest in the health and happiness of his colleagues.
